The second day of Camp iCare began with afternoon assembly, where Miss Sid introduced us to the days topic which was the "3 S's of money". This was followed by a great skit by Team 360.
Once the opening ceremonies concluded, the campers went to Team Time and began discussions about money. Campers learned what the 3 S's of money are; Spend, Save, and Share. They learned about how to spend their money wisely, and how they can share it effectively. They also learned about needs vs. wants during this time.
The campers continued working on their donor boards and their "Genius Zone" eBoards.
We rounded out the day with our guest speaker State Representative Isaac Whorton. Isaac spoke to the campers about the importance of the 3 S's of money as well as what he does as the State Representative and how he and other state politicians use their time, time talent, treasure, and trust to make a difference in their communities.
